Summer Vacation in Hawaii - Week 3 of 4

Almost every morning, oma and opa took the boys on a walk to a nearby beach. Oma said they met a lot of nice people on their morning walks, and the boys always had a great time running around barefoot (and in their pjs)! Here is a picture that oma took one morning that I absolutely love...

More pictures from their morning walks... here's Bryce wearing his opa's hat. :)

Getting lost in opa's hat...

A picture of Ben looking so cute (and Hawaiian) sitting on a little beach outside of a hotel...

Unfortunately, we had to spend Father's Day away from daddy. So, we took this picture and sent it to him with the message: "We love you. We miss you. We can't wait to see you!"

We went back to the City of Refuge one afternoon and met a sweet man working the park. He was wearing this coat made of some type of leaves that was once used by the natives for warmth and protection. He let oma try it on!

Mommy and a sleepy Benjamin...

Wherever there are buttons to press, the boys will surely find them...

Bryce making faces for the camera one morning... here are his silly and sweet faces. :)

That afternoon, we went back to our favorite beach. We saw lots of beautiful sea turtles that day...

Can you see the three turtles in this picture?

Opa getting ready to snorkel...

Here's a view of the beach from the water that I took while snorkeling...

I loved taking pictures of the boys on this beach because they were always so happy here! The beach was small and safe enough for us to let them run freely...

My two little monkeys enjoying a snack under a palm tree...

Bryce's cookie covered face :)

The boys loved playing with this odd looking plant that grew right in the middle of the beach... a local woman we met on the beach explained to us that the fruits are used to make medicine.

I think Ben was thinking about climbing his first tree...

Oma and opa took Gabrielle to see a 3D movie one night, and while playing in oma and opa's room one morning, Benjamin found a pair of the 3D glasses. Oma sent me this picture that she took, and it made me laugh so hard! I'm always saying that Benjamin is going to be our future brainy engineer...

One evening, we stopped at this pretty beach to play for a little bit. Here's a picture of Benjamin with his opa and oma enjoying the view...

After the beach, we stopped for dinner...

After dinner, the boys got lost in a sea of Hawaiian shirts...

As we were walking back towards the car, the boys decided they needed to lay down on the dirty ground  for a quick rest... very odd little boys!

Week 4 pictures coming soon... and daddy comes back!
