Starting to dig into their baskets...
Ben pulls out the big box holding a chocolate bunny...
Underneath the chocolate bunnies, they discovered their most favorite part of the baskets...Easter eggs that looked like soccer balls, basketballs, and footballs!
They showed us each egg and called out what type of ball it was...
Benjamin giving monkey some love...
Bryce checking out to see what his brother got...
Benjamin is looking for more goodies...
I think Bryce is checking to see if the baskets were made in China...
Now Benjamin is checking out what his brother got...
"Now look, daddy, this is my basket. Don't eat any of the candy while I'm asleep, okay?"
Benjamin inspecting his football very closely...
Bryce is making sure he didn't miss anything...
Benjamin giving monkey more love...
Bryce inspecting all his goodies...
I guess Benjamin really wanted to make sure he didn't miss anything...
Finally, I got one smile for the camera!
Bryce, the boy who is obsessed with any kind of ball and can rarely walk around without one in his hand, is so happy with his new toys!
Pure happiness!
Here are all the jelly beans that we had to secretly remove from all the eggs...
The boys loved their baskets so much, they ended up wearing them...
Can you guess which child is the mischievious one?
Mr. Mischievious and Mr. Aloof...
These pictures make me giggle!
Benjamin forgets the basket for a few seconds when he sees the cell phone in his brother's hand...
LOL!
Bryce is getting sleepy...
While Benjamin is still being his goofy self...
Night night, Bryce...
When it was finally time for bed, we had to pry the baskets and eggs out of the boys' little hands! They cried all the way to their room, and as soon as they woke up the next morning, they ran straight to their baskets.
After the boys fell asleep, Evan and I prepared for their Easter egg hunt. Here are the 20 pinwheels and 100 mini plastic eggs stuffed with stickers and jelly beans ready to adorn our backyard on Easter Sunday...
