Laila's First Birthday Party

Last Friday, we celebrated Laila's first birthday with delicious cupcakes at Dessertapalooza at Firewheel Town Center.  Laila is basically Bryce's girlfriend because from the first time they played together, these two are like magnets!  It doesn't matter if we put Laila in between Bryce and Benjamin, she always goes straight to Bryce and the two love birds are always touching each other's faces and sharing toys (which Bryce never does with anyone else...he usually just steals the toys)!

After dessert, it was time for dinner!  The weather was beautiful, so Evan and I went outside to feed the boys.  I found Laila looking out Dessertapalooza's window... I think she was wondering why her boyfriend left her :)

After lunch the whole group went outside to sit by the fountain in the center courtyard.  We took the boys to "look" at the river that runs through the center, but by the time we left, they were soaking wet!  Here's Benjamin on the verge of jumping out of my hands...

By the time we got home, it was almost bedtime and the boys were exhausted!  It was a perfect start to our holiday weekend!
