4th of July

Last weekend, the boys celebrated their first 4th of July with family, food, and swimming!  Here are a bunch of pictures from our fun weekend...

Here they are sporting their 4th of July t-shirts and too busy watching cartoons to look at the camera.

I can't remember which cartoon they were watching, but something funny must have happened...

A sweet moment between Bryce and Opa...

Benjamin glued to the cartoon again... obviously, my boys watch way too much television!

Bryce looks like such a big boy here...

Bryce goofing around with cousin Claire...

Bryce enjoying a tickle by Aunt Lizzy (with eyes glued to the tv)...

Exhausted from all the tickling...

Bryce playing with Uncle Peter...

After lunch, we changed and lathered up for the pool...

My boys...

Bryce giving his brother the "you're weird" look...

We also celebrated Oma's birthday two days late with cupcakes made by Aunt Lizzy...

A close up of the cupcakes (yes, I know what you're thinking!)... they definitely tasted better than they look!

The boys enjoying their first cupcakes... a practice run before their first birthday party next week!

The 4th of July celebration continued the next day with more fun in the pool.  Here's Ben looking adorable in his daddy's Sunset Beach cap...

Who says bath toys are only for the bath?

I can't believe he kept the hat on that long!

Bryce looking adorable in his summer hat... it's a miracle that they both kept their hats on long enough for us to shoot some pics!

Bryce playing with Claire and William...

Evan and I with way too many kids...

Benjamin started getting sleepy...

I had to include this picture to show Bryce's puckered lips... something he started doing about a week ago out of the blue.

Benjamin has no fear of sticking his face in the water... which he first started doing recently in the tub during bathtime and now in the pool.

Bryce's girlfriend, Laila, came over to join the fun... this was Laila's first time to go swimming and seemed to love it!

The End...
